Logic problem

earendil-was-a-mariner:

Frodo, Sam, and Gollum are on the side of a river and there’s a 2-person boat that can carry them to the other side. However, there’s a problem. If Frodo and Gollum are alone on one side, Gollum might try to steal the ring. If Sam and Gollum are alone together on one side, Sam might try to kill Gollum. In addition, Sam is not okay with Frodo being in the boat alone. Is there a way to get the trio safely across without any problem? Answer below.

So I was talking with my brother about Tom Bombadil and obviously at one point the ā€œwhat if he’s a Valarā€ came up and my brother said that he could be a physical manifestation of that little part of Melkor’s mind which regrets, feels guilty and is trying to relieve stress by living close to the nature
I’m done with LotR theoriesĀ (╯°▔°)╯ ┻━┻

Yes and the Goldberry is actually a part of Sauron’s spirit

…it could be a nice justificationĀ for popular theory of ā€œThe Hidden Evil-Bombadilā€
